Hurricane Season: Getting ready…just in case!

Preparing for hurricane season can be stressful. Local shelters may allow you to enter; however, pets may not be so lucky. Inform yourself ahead of time as to which shelters allow pets. Also familiarize yourself with pet friendly hotels in the area and some which are further inland – waiting until right before the hurricane hits is never a good idea and additional anxiety can be avoided if one is well organized.
